Pazartesi sabah evde hepimizin ateşi yükselmeye başlayınca 8.sınıf öğrencisi ergeni okula göndermedik. Acaba virüsü kaptık mı diye kuşkulandık. Akşam internet üzerinden belediyeden Covid-19 test kiti talep ettik. Dün sabah Orta Doğulu görünüşlü bir taksici bey 2 x test kiti getirdi. Uzaktan kapının önüne yere bıraktı. 20 dk sonra alacağım dedi. 10cm uzun kulak çöpü gibi ucu pamuklu sopayı boğazdaki küçük dil ve yutağa iyice süründürüp içinde sıvı olan cam tüpe koyduk ve kapıya bıraktık.
Bugün internetten mesaj ile positiv sonuç geldi! Bir de talimatlar geldi:
ilk semptom gününden itibaren 7 gün + 2 semptomsuz gün = 9 gün evde kalınacak.
Evdeki insanlar dışında kimseyle görüşülmeyecek. İlaç verilmiyor. Ateş ve
başağrısı için paracetamol, ibufen kullanın. Kendinizi çok kötü hissederseniz,
sakın hastaneye gelmeyin. Direkt 112 ambulans çağırın... Dualarınızı eksik etmeyin.
Güncel durumumuz (Gün 7):
Oğlan 3 günde iyileşti. Ben 39 ateş, titreyerek üşüme ve müthiş başağrısı ile orta halli geçiriyorum. Hanımın biraz sıkıntıları var ama o da iyileşecek inşallah. On Monday, we woke up with fever, chills, fatigue and muscle aches. Our teenager son didn’t go to school. Probably just a bad case of flu right? No cough, no difficulty breathing what so ever. Just fever and chills. Our symptoms continued to worsen next day. We had severe headache and no appetite and fever rose to 39 degrees.
In the evening, I booked Coronavirus home testing kits from the municipality online. Yesterday morning, a taxi driver brought two test kits. left them outside the door and said he will pick them up after 20 minutes (Healthcare doesn’t arrange tests under 16 years old children). We did our best take the test properly by wiping the soft tip of 10cm long swab around the back of the throat, then put it in the tube with liquid and left the kits outside of the door.
Next day we received a message that both of us have Positive results. Then came the instructions: we must stay 7 days + 2 symptom-free days = 9 days at home from the first symptom day. No medication is given,is only instruction to use Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for fever and headache. They don’t recommend us to come to hospital. Instead, they urge us to call directly 112 for ambulance if the situation at home is unsustainable...
Our current situation (day 7): Son recovered in 3 days. I am still having severe fever, chills and terrible headache. Our lady complains about high fever, but I keep comfort her by saying: please try to stand a couple of days more.
